If a check mark appears in a colmn of this chart, this means that the Medigap policy covers 100% of the described bedefit. If a column lists a percentage, this means the Medigap policy covers that percentage of the described benefit. If no percentat appear or if a column is blan, this means that the Medigap policy doesn’t cover that benefit. Note: The Medigap policy covers coinusrance only after you have paid the deductible (unless the Medigap policy also covers the deductable).
*Medigap Plans F and J offer a high-deductible option. You must pay for Medicare-covered costs up to the high-deductible amount ($2,000 in 2009) befor your Medigap policy pays anything.
